Role Overview: Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) is building a world-class team to ensure that we continue to fulfill our mission to bring the best of the performing arts to the widest audience imaginable. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that we attract top talent who will contribute significantly to Lincoln Center's community and mission. Lincoln Center has eleven storied resident organizations on our beautiful 16-acre campus, and as a member of the talent team, you may have an opportunity to support searches across the campus. We are looking for someone reflective, ambitious and committed to facilitating an inclusive & just hiring process. In this role you’ll serve as an ambassador for Lincoln Center and embody/model the values we seek in all members of our team.

What you’ll get to do here:  


  • Manage and drive the full recruitment life cycle by sourcing, reviewing resumes, and screening candidates as efficiently & fairly as possible 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed/accurate job descriptions 
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting strategies based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization 
  • Schedule interviews, oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring & selection materials
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience 
  • Facilitate a consistent and equitable process for all candidates 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as organization policies. 
  • Assist with job posting and marketing processes if needed 


You’ll be a fit if you bring:  


  • 2+ years of Full-Cycle recruiting experience (either in-house or staffing agency)  
  • Passion for and demonstrated commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility 
  • Strong track record managing both active and passive candidate funnels  
  • Nuanced understanding of the market and a knack for developing creative ways to engage with the right talent 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates 
  • Dedication to knowledge-sharing at all stages in the hiring cycle 
  • Demonstrated experience with offers and negotiations 
  • Strong organizational and strategic problem-solving skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
