Position:

The Assistant Program Officer position is within LISC’s national Family Income and Wealth Building (FIWB) department. This department sits within the Economic Development Programs at LISC. 

This APO position will provide support the client management system on Salesforce and will be used by subgrantees of LISC including but not limited to Business Development Organizations and CDFIs which serve small businesses. This individual will provide training and support to the internal team supporting multiple Salesforce platforms, internal support to LISC local Program Officers and front end users of the system. 

The Family Income and Wealth Building team has invested considerable resources toward the development of the FOC program that seeks to help low-income households achieve greater financial stability through an integrated system of workforce development, financial coaching and income supports. LISC’s FIWB team has a firm commitment to building evidence through data and outcomes. 

This position will work with a team responsible for contributing to the day-to-day management of multiple Salesforce platforms that support the program management, outcomes tracking and measurement, and reporting.

Responsibilities: 

  • Co-manage two Salesforce platforms and their external community partner users (includes setup of new users).
  • Provide ongoing system maintenance that includes workflows, custom reports and dashboards, external user accounts, and custom fields/record types/page layouts.
  • Participate in testing for new Salesforce applications and provide implementation feedback.
  • Design and maintain training manuals for users as well as facilitate virtual trainings.
  • Support experienced Program Officers in outcomes and data analysis to identify trends in program implementation and performance
  • On a monthly basis, run network wide performance reports.
  • Provide data documentation support as it relates to the Business Development network and the Entrepreneurs of Color Fund initiatives 
  • Support evaluation efforts as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 year related work experience managing Salesforce platforms.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytic skills and experience, especially in government grants administration
  • Knowledge of federal government contract regulations, including federal OMB Circulars is preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal financial reports and federal audits preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of public and nonprofit partners.
  • A high level of comfort interacting with colleagues via phone, e-mail, and webinar.
