Staff Attorney - Missouri (Statewide)

Staff Attorney wanted for Missouri Protection and Advocacy Services (Mo P&A), a non-profit, statewide, public interest law firm representing persons with disabilities. Attorney will handle legal cases from initial client meeting through drafting of the complaint, discovery, and individual and systemic litigation in state and federal court, and administrative tribunals. Litigation, appellate, and motion practice experience strongly preferred. Missouri bar license in good standing required; must be eligible to obtain federal licensure. Must be willing and able to travel statewide for case work and training, including overnight. Areas of practice include disability-related legal rights. No billable hours. Position is currently remote due to the pandemic.

Employer pays all premiums, including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance. Other benefits include employer contributions to retirement; paid leave time, including personal, vacation and sick leave; and commitment to work-life balance. Salary range $40,000 to $60,000, DOE.
