Assistant Director/Director, Youth Program Development

A respected New York (Manhattan) non-profit organization known for its programming in the fields of arts, education and sports, with a mission of promoting a positive bilateral US-Russia dialogue, is looking for a full time Assistant Director/Director to oversee its internationally acclaimed pre-professional youth ballet program and an overseas international language and culture program. Some of the expected responsibilities are:

  • Outreach and relationship building with existing and new partners
  • Managing the Program enrollment process
  • Planning the national audition tour (Jan – Feb)
  • Preparation/Review of Program Manuals and Forms
  • Overseeing Program vendors and seasonal staff
  • Residing on-program during the summer period (7 weeks)
  • Supporting the participants during the summer period of about 6 - 9 weeks
  • Engaging with participants’ families
  • Overseeing operations to ensure smooth implementation of the program, as well as a safe and successful environment for the participants and staff

The Assistant Director/Director works closely with organizations senior leadership.
