ABOUT THE POSITION: The Accounting Associate is a part of the Finance team and provides general accounting support. Their key responsibilities include daily and monthly reconciliation of banking and GL accounts, audit preparation and support, investigation into staff questions, as well as data entry, review, revision and preparation of accounting information and reports according to established guidelines and procedures. The Associate works collaboratively with program staff from our Client Services Office (CSO) and other Compass staff.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The Finance Department supports the agency with accurate financial information. Specific functions include agency budget development and coordination, financial reports and reconciliation, audit preparation, accounts payable and accounts receivable management, and payroll.

REPORTS TO: Senior Accountant
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Weekdays (37.5 hours per week. Flexible schedule with manager approval.)
SALARY RANGE: $19.50-23.50 per hour DOE
