Collaborative Support Programs of NJ (CSPNJ), a peer led not-for-profit organization, has an opening for Housing Skills Facilitators for a supported housing program in Monmouth County. Position is full-time 40 hour per week and schedule is Wed. - Sat. 8 am - 6:30 pm. Excellent benefits package. Responsibility: Housing Skills Facilitator works collaboratively with persons served, recently released from the psychiatric hospital, to develop and enhance living skills necessary for full community participation. Housing Skills Facilitator should model and teach living skills and assist individuals in setting and achieving personal recovery and wellness goals. Candidate must have good listening and motivational skills to effectively engage persons served and create a positive sense of community in shared housing. Qualifications: Bachelors in Social Work or related field –OR- equivalent combination of education and work experience. Excellent written and verbal skills, strong assessment skills and organizational skills are a must. Ability to manage crisis; strong computer skills and valid drivers’ license and acceptable driving record required. Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation model preferred.
