CPC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will work alongside our multidisciplinary team which delivers high quality, evidence informed, and community-based behavioral healthcare services to our clients.

 

We are seeking a motivated individual to become a member of our multidisciplinary treatment team providing mental health treatment and supporting efforts toward recovery to clients in our outpatient clinics.  If you are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference, please apply.

 

This position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00PM. This position is responsible for providing quality medical support for clients including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and health coaching in our outpatient clinics. The candidate must be able to travel to other clinics when necessary. 

 

Duties include:

 

  • Work with Medical Assistant to greet clients, collect vitals and other wellness indicators before their prescriber appointments.
  • Assist with medication management, education and administration, including IM injections and client response to medications.
  • Maintain client records and facilitate referrals to community health resources.
  • Respond to client’s medication questions, refill requests and assist with appointment scheduling when needed. 
  • Facilitate client education and activity groups about smoking-cessation, exercise, stress reduction, and healthy eating and cooking.

 

 

 

 The ideal candidate must:

 

  • Be a responsible, caring individual with a commitment to high quality patient care
  •  Be punctual and reliable.
  • Meet criteria for certification with the State of Washington as a LPN and have current/active licensure.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work in and with teams.
  • Have experience working with an Electronic Medical Record.
  • Be able and willing to learn new skills and adjust to change.
