This 0.8 FTE position will support gs’ communication with our community of students, teachers, partners, donors, funders and with the public. This includes website management, social media, mass emails, video production, webinars, phone calls and mailings. This position will have specific focus on supporting our donor organizing program. This includes one-on-one communication with donors over email and on the phone, administrative management of thank you letters, and more. Responsibilities will include project management - taking the lead on moving a project from inception to completion; and implementation - being thorough, detail-oriented and consistent with both substantive and administrative tasks. This position will be supervised by and work in close collaboration with the gs Resource Development Director.
● Support organizational communications:
o Manage website overhaul and support staff members in processes needed to land on content.
o Produce mass emails (find photos, formatting, making sure list is up to date, at times drafting content).
o Manage presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
o Create organizational videos.
o Manage communication and data-entry related to email list sign-ons and all incoming inquiries.
● Support donor organizing:
o Participate fully in and support logistics for gs Transformative Fundraising Program and other community fundraising efforts.
o Build and engage donor teams (sustaining donors, major donors, etc).
o Manage donor thank you letter process and year end mailings, including data entry. o Track and follow up with lapsed monthly donors.
o Produce printed materials (donor envelopes, thank you cards, brochures, etc).
● Supervise consultants, contractors, volunteers and interns as needed.
