    Description

    Main Roles to Include:

    • Lead the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of critical relationships with individual donor engagement, retention, and corporate sponsors to support the organization’s mission and financial goals.
    • Proactively identify and engage new prospects, including individuals and organizations, through various channels, including network events, community organizations, and direct cultivation.
    • Work with the Director of Marketing and Communications and VP of the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) on best practices and strategies for cultivation of new and existing donors and corporate partners. Seek opportunities to “cross-sell” individuals.
    • Work with the President and the VP of CWSP to identify specific CEOs to visit with the President. Schedule these in-person or on Zoom.
    • Create thorough understanding of “why” donors give and if NDCR is fulfilling their “why”
    • Mining and research of existing donor database with the objective of becoming a trusted charity of choice and increasing giving amounts according to needs set in fundraising plan
    • Creation of donor profiles with strategies for increased revenue potential

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

    • Demonstrate proven experience, success, and knowledge of the full development spectrum, including gift solicitation, stewardship, and donor recognition.
    • Possess a history of cultivating and supporting relationships with current donors, ensuring continued support.
    • Have experience researching and soliciting relationships with new donors.
    • Be a strategic thinker with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Possess excellent writing and social and organizational skills to achieve the school’s fundraising and outreach goals.
    • Possess the availability to be present for evening and or weekend events.
    • BA in Business Administration - Master preferred.
    • 5 years’ experience in senior management.
    • Possess excellent social and organizational skills
    • Be a team player with enthusiasm to learn about all of the workings of the school, thereby creating a full understanding of how the school works and eliminating possibility of departmental silo affect
    • Participate in school events
