Summary:

The Intake and Assessment Specialist plays a vital role in the operation of the Safe Horizon Counseling Center (SHCC) and is often the first person with whom our clients interact. The Intake and Assessment Specialist models, trains, and supervises client-centered and trauma-informed engagement for the other members of the Intake Team. Many people who call the Counseling Center are seeking victim services other than the trauma treatment services offered by the SHCC.
