Men's Health Network (MHN) seeks an experienced professional to manage marketing, programming, and advocacy initiatives. This position will be responsible for coordinating current and new initiatives and programs that engage policymakers, partner organizations, and other stakeholders in strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of boys, men, fathers, and their families.

The successful candidate with become familiar with all aspects of the organization’s activities and programs, including marketing and media outreach.

This position is based out of the Old Town Alexandria office near the King Street Metro station.

---Essential Duties and Responsibilities---

Plan, organize and lead meetings of key stakeholders in health and family policy

Coordinate educational briefings and other events on a broad range of male topics

Build and maintain relationships with policymakers at the federal and state levels

Coordinate campaigns and develop and implement programs that bring attention to issues in male health and fatherhood

Represent MHN in coalition meetings on a wide range of public health and related issues

Develop partnerships with like-minded organizations

Write letters and comments on proposed rules and other policy items

--Qualification Requirements:--

Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution 2+ years of relevant professional experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Expertise across all social media platforms

Experience working in coalitions and with policy makers and legislative bodies

Adaptability to changing demands of the position

Should have a passion for promoting the health and well-being of men and boys.

Bilingual is a plus

Level of Language Proficiency

Bi-lingual is a plus but not required.
