Description

Small trade association seeks an Energy Program Manager


Work as part of a team to educate utility staff and commercial and industrial customers about innovative energy solutions:

  • Provide technical and marketing/sales training to contractors and trade allies
  • Assess market potential of new heating, cooling, process heating, power generation, and waste heat recovery equipment
  • Develop relationships with manufacturers of energy equipment
  • Manage multiple projects and oversee various program initiatives:
  • Identify speakers on various energy topics for conferences and webinars
  • Manage the creation of various electronic and print tools and resources
  • Draft RFPs and manage outside contractors


  • Desired Skills and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, environmental science, marketing, or communications
  • Graduate degree helpful
  • 3-7 years experience managing energy efficiency or energy delivery programs for a utility, consulting firm, government agency, or non-profit organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong sense of service to association members
  • Part time telecommuting possible
  • Successful candidate will be required to provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
