Description
This is a full-time, hourly position located in Zufall’s Dover, NJ headquarters, responsible for critical administrative support tasks related to Zufall’s fundraising and grant application activities. Supervised by Zufall’s Grant Writer, who reports to the CEO. The Philanthropy Assistant is responsible for ensuring the implementation of specific fundraising tasks within the following primary task areas: 1) donor and grant database management 2) needs assessment data collection 3) prospect research, and 4) written responsibilities including communications with donors and assigned sections of grant proposals.
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience/interest in nonprofit fundraising preferred
- Familiarity with donor database or constituent relationship management preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and fundraising database management
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a diverse team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local community-based agencies a plus
