Calvary Women's Services is expanding its housing and services to meet the needs of more homeless women in the District of Columbia. We are seeking someone who is passionate about empowering women and excited to bring their skills, experience and leadership to the Case Manager supporting victims of domestic violence in our Permanent Supportive Housing Program.

As the Case Manager you will provide case management services that empower women to achieve their goals for good health, financial stability and maintaining stable housing.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

  • Working from a strengths-based, trauma-informed care model, support a case load of 15 women as they develop personalized case plans and strive to reach their goals
  • Working with Calvary's Housing Navigator, support women in housing search, application and leasing processes.
  • Meet with clients at their apartments 2-3 times per month
  • Link clients with other Calvary Services including client savings program, life skills and education programs, mental health services, Step Up DC job placement programs, and addiction recovery services. ·       
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations that support victims of domestic violence.
  • Provide mobile advocacy for clients to ensure that survivors have access to available services, which may include meetings are partner agencies, libraries, coffee shops or other safe and mutually agreed upon locations.
  • Provide referrals for community-based services including medical care, benefits applications, addiction treatment, and life skills development

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree, a minimum of three years of case management experience, preferably with some of experience working with victims of domestic violence.
  • Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity, inclusiveness and empowerment.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
