Position Summary

The Cristo Rey Network seeks an HR and Office Administration Associate who will serve in a variety of capacities to support and enhance the day-to-day operations of the Cristo Rey Network national office. This is a critical support position that will require the ability to work closely and seamlessly with all members of the national office staff. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the CFO / Director of HR with human resources processes and programs:
  • Employee recruitment, onboarding and offboarding 
  • Employee benefits
  • Performance reviews
  • Policies and procedures documentation
  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is functioning smoothly:
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail including infrequent large mailings
  • Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • Manage office vendors including landlord, copier, insurance, utilities, etc.
  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
  • Assist the Events and Programs Manager with events, including professional development programs, Board meetings and internal office meetings and celebrations:
  • Registration
  • Food and beverage
  • Supplies, including audio visual needs 
  • Travel arrangements, including room blocks

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and with individuals across all organizational levels


Job Location

This position is based at Cristo Rey Network’s national office in downtown Chicago, IL.
