As our Partnerships Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our funding base and in assisting the Partnerships Director to achieve the team’s annual revenue goals. In pursuit of these objectives, you will:

- Track and analyze partner-related data to ensure MLT is generating a significant return on partner investments

- Craft client-ready sales and renewal presentations for current partners

- Prepare for and participate in recurring meetings with partners (corporations, non-profits and foundations)

- Manage communication and follow-up with current partners

- Work cross-functionally to drive top MLT talent to partners

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and the development of executive-level presentations and will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. As there will be significant opportunity to attend client meetings and negotiations, this role is meant to be a stepping stone for a talented individual who is seeking to lead his or her own accounts and/or become a relationship manager at a leading non-profit as their next career step. You should be able to communicate persuasively and professionally; manage and analyze data to draw meaningful conclusions; and manage projects effectively with minimal supervision. This position is based out of MLT’s Bethesda, MD office and reports to the Partnerships Director.

Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Client-Centered Communications (50%)

  • Prepare customized presentations and proposals for upsell, cross-sell and leadership meetings with current partners
  • Analyze partner results and create client-ready presentations for status reporting and partnership renewals
  • Analyze partner data across industries and create reports to highlight partner trends internally and externally
  • Track, maintain, and package data used to capture our effectiveness and build upon our partner base

Key Responsibilities: Partner Account Coordination/Management (30%)

  • Support Partnerships Director in achieving annual revenue goals by maintaining regular communication about return on investment into MLT talent being sourced by our partners
  • Contribute to identification of partner growth opportunities, development of mutually beneficial partnership proposals, and management of follow-up communications with current partners
  • Share partner feedback with our Programs teams to ensure we are developing talent that meets the bar of excellence at our partner organizations

Key Responsibilities: Partner Engagement (20%)

  • Collaborate with internal staff to identify candidates who are a strong match for partner organizations
  • Develop customized engagement offerings for partners with niche opportunities
  • Lead internal and external planning with partner hosts and partner attendees
  • Manage partner participation through registration process and partner slotting

Ideal Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience, with preferably 2 or more of those in a professional services environment (e.g., strategy consulting, financial services, and general management) or in a B2B account management or business development role
  • Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interpret and manage the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to craft strong client-ready presentations and emails
  • Keen ability to solve problems with resourcefulness
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, cross-functional environment
  • Fluidity with technology, particularly cloud-based databases and systems
  • Strong project management skills and sense of urgency to meet multiple external and internal deadlines
  • Willingness to attend occasional evening and weekend conferences and MLT events when partners are in attendance
