MISSION: ImmSchools is an immigrant-led nonprofit organization that partners with educators and community leaders to ensure safe and inclusive schools for undocumented and mixed-status students and their families. We envision a just and equitable education system where immigrant and undocumented students and families thrive.

We are a young organization looking for experienced, mission-aligned people. Our Regional Program Manager to help us increase access to resources and safe spaces in order for undocumented students and families to reach their fullest potential. Because we are deeply committed to ensuring our team is composed of those directly impacted by the intersection of immigration and education, those with immigrant lived experiences are ideal to help us move our mission forward.

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Work closely with ImmSchools Chief Program Officer in the management and execution of regional programmatic contract expectations
  • Manage school, district, and community partner relations and program logistics
  • Implement and co-facilitate ImmSchools’ national and regional program model, tailor workshop curriculum, development of regional resources, that meet geographic region and participating audience needs
  • Analyze data and administrative tasks after each session including the incorporation of feedback and recommendations from ImmSchools national team
  • Develop quarterly and annual program reports aligned to ImmSchools strategic plan
  • Manage program facilitators and additional teammates
  • Cross departmental collaboration with national and regional team
  • Managing partnerships at all levels from proposal development for partners and programing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5- 10 year of professional/personal experience of working with Immigrant and undocumented communities
  • Effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and tracking data skills
  • Dynamic facilitation skills that engages multiple audiences which maintains retention in the program
  • Effective and efficient multitasking skills
  • 3-5 years as a former or current teaching or school staff experience *highly preferred
  • Bi- or Multilingual by region* preferred (Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese/Mandarin)
