The Bridge, an innovative and well respected behavioral health agency serving adults with serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and co-morbid medical conditions is seeking a Director of Practice Operations and Clinic Programs for its Outpatient Behavioral Health Program.

  • Lead operations of THE BRIDGE Office of Mental Health (OMH) Article 31 clinic and Clinic programs offering services to adults and their families by communicating with and developing staff members and developing plans for programs and goals that support the growth of the clinic and associated programs
  • Develop and articulate short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility including plans for growth of the Article 31 Clinic and other Outpatient programs
  • Provide oversight and serve as the liaison to both internal and external agencies/organizations for grants and contracts as well as maintain comprehensive knowledge of contracts and/or grants to develop strategies of standardization, sustainability, and growth
  • Develop and monitor strategic operating goals, objectives, and budget; reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action while leading program development, planning and assessment activities
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Coordinator of the Article 31 Clinic to ensure that the most effective Behavioral Health treatment approaches are utilized and developing new models of treatment where appropriate
  • Implementation and oversight of Administrative Policies and Procedures
  • Monitoring regulatory and clinical standards, productivity, and quality assurance efforts, internal and external; meeting contractual reporting requirements and performance standards
  • In collaboration with the fiscal staff, responsible for budget preparation, analysis, monitoring expenses and forecasting for all clinic programs, contracts, and grants
  • Supervise a wide discipline staff from entry level staff to Coordinator/Supervisor level positions, instilling in them a great sense of value, professionalism, and inspiration
  • Initiating new program applications to increase the quality of care to all constituents
  • Identify/lead in the development of funding initiatives
  • Create reports for Bridge leadership to regularly assess fiscal viability of the Article 31 Clinic
  • Together with leadership, integrate, align and refine programs and services so that they work effectively with programs of the other divisions of THE BRIDGE
  • Manage staffing and scheduling of all full time and Fee for Service Staff at the Article 31 Clinic
  • Responsible for the submission of new and renewal application of OMH program certifications as well as administrative actions and changes
  • Responsible for the handling of audits from regulatory entities and for the development and implementation of the audits plan of corrective action (POC)
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with partner agencies for potential collaboration and/or referrals
  • Represent agency clinic services of THE BRIDGE at various external committees and advocacy groups
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies
  • Be able to perform special projects or assigned tasks by senior leadership
  • Any other duties as assigned

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Nursing or Social Work. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or Social Work
  • Five plus years of experience in a clinic setting or atleast two years of work experience at a licensed mental health or substance use program
  • Four plus years in a healthcare management role
  • Ability to work amongst multiple priority projects and work against deadlines
  • COVID vaccination is required for employment
