The Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing NOFA-VT’s sponsorship program as well as providing support to the Development & Engagement Director and other Program staff with grant writing, research, and management. The Development Coordinator reports to the Development & Engagement Director.
The two primary responsibilities of the Development Coordinator are 1) managing sponsorship systems for the Winter Conference and Share the Harvest events for NOFA-VT, as well as other organizational sponsorship opportunities, and 2) supporting the grant writing needs of the organization, including researching new opportunities and writing grant inquiries, working collaboratively with program staff on grant proposals and reporting, tracking grant timelines, and coordinating documents relating to applications and reporting.

The Development Coordinator possesses a background in fundraising and development. Must have strong written and oral communications skills, a creative, energetic attitude, high attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to balance many projects. Advanced experience with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite is necessary. The position will be likely be a hybrid position with some days working from home and some days working from NOFA-VT's office in Richmond. Currently NOFA-VT is working primarily remotely.
This is a coordinator level position, falling into NOFA-VT’s program staff pay band of $21.71 - $28.06. NOFA-VT offers competitive benefits, paid time off, a flexible work schedule, and more. As a part-time position, the position is not currently eligible for health benefits.
