Salary: $36,000 with an excellent benefits package.

The Administrative Assistant will contribute to the overall efficiency of Beck Institute internal operations and communication by providing administrative support to various departments.

In support of our Training for Organizations department:

  • Ensure timely mailing of workshop promotional materials
  • Enter training data and generate reports in Salesforce
  • Maintain current CVs, biographical sketches and specialty information for all faculty and adjunct faculty
  • In advance of workshops, provide suggested abstracts, learning objectives, and previous PowerPoint presentations to speakers when possible
  • Assist with market and client research
  • Assist with travel arrangements for staff and adjunct faculty as needed

General Office support:

  • Help staff resolve IT problems by working with the IT Help Desk
  • Provide customer service/support general information by phone and email to Institute constituents
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment including copier, AC unit, postage machine, etc.
  • Serve as backup support to Clinic Coordinator
  • Assist with fulfillment of educational material orders
  • Assist with processing continuing education paperwork
  • Track office supply inventory and manage and place supply orders
  • Submit maintenance requests to property management
  • Process incoming and outgoing office mail
  • Other duties, as assigned


  • 2 years of administrative experience in an office environment or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Psychology
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Friendly, clear, and patient communication style
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is highly desirable
  • CBT knowledge is preferred
