This is a temporary maternity leave coverage position expected to run from November 26 through approximately March 31, 2019. The ideal candidate will facilitate the growth and development of the Work & Travel USA program by assisting host clients and student participants with questions and issues that may arise. This heavily administrative position will also be responsible for creating and tracking surveys, drafting messaging to participants, creating and curating photo contests, tracking and modifying marketing messages to various client segments, and composing reports on surveys and other data gathered.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with Program Director and Marketing team to assist in the creation and tracking of content for tailored marketing strategies and ensure implementation and follow-through of marketing initiatives
  • Schedule marketing campaigns and maintain the program’s marketing calendar
  • Craft and edit daily and monthly email campaigns to employers and participants regarding program administration, developments, and events
  • Compile and track data for email and postal campaigns (list generation, processing bounces and updating employer and participant information)
  • Analyze the success of marketing campaigns and surveys using analytics software to track trends
  • Develop and edit program-related materials, blogs and web content
  • Review team email campaigns and ensure they are consistent with branding and marketing goals
  • Develop, administer, and evaluate program surveys in order to recommend changes in program initiatives
  • Research industry peers and trends
  • Present analysis of pertinent data trends to Work & Travel team 
  • Relay Work & Travel team input and requests to Marketing team
  • Send confirmation emails with program information to participants
  • Create and send database log-in accounts
  • Edit and monitor monthly emails
  • Track international student trends and countries of origin in order to identify emerging markets


  • Experience with developing and marketing programs/services
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational background

  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Experience with marketing, career services, human resources, staffing, program development 
  • Previous office/administrative experience
  • Adept at prioritizing and juggling responsibilities, working under tight deadlines, and handling last minute changes/requests

  • Experience traveling/living abroad helpful
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree

Working Conditions:

  • The duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office environment. The position generally involves continuous sitting; frequent standing; infrequent walking; light to moderate lifting; light carrying; keyboard and telephone operation
