Main Purpose of the job:   A member of the WEConnect International executive leadership team responsible for managing the day to day operations of the organization.

Job Overview: WEConnect International has been growing steadily and is now seeking to dramatically accelerate growth. Therefore, the position requires that the candidate is mission-focused, strategic, collaborative, a strong team player, looks for ways to strengthen the team environment and support colleagues and is creative, self-motivated, open to change, and process minded. The candidate should have a strong business background in operations including the development and management of staff, budgets, policies and procedures, contracts, legal and regulatory compliance, and internal communications. As a member of the executive team, the candidate must be a leader who can help others at WEConnect International deliver measurable, cost-effective results that make the mission and vision a reality. The candidate must also be able to continue to develop an inclusive and performance driven culture with efficient and effective systems to increase the productivity of the organization while remaining creative. The candidate will lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against the goals of the organization and leads by example in promoting the organization’s core values.


Job Responsibilities: To help ensure the efficient and effective management, growth, and impact of WEConnect International in accordance with its mission and regulation, below are examples of the candidate’s key job responsibilities in alpha order.

  • Audits - Support annual audits that are managed by the Director of Operations
  • Board - Develop relevant Board materials and manage Board follow-up
  • Budget - Develop and manage the budget to ensure goals are met or exceeded
  • Committees - Serve on relevant Board committee(s)
  • Communications - Manage clear and timely internal team communications
  • Compliance - Ensure 100% compliance with 501(c)(3) IRS rules and regulations
  • Contracts - Approved scopes of work, review contracts with Director of Operations
  • Culture - Support and maintain a positive and supportive team culture
  • Finance - Monitors and reports on financial activity and evaluates impact
  • Hiring - Recruit relevant new hires, manage onboarding and staff transitions
  • HR - Instill human capital development and coaching culture and processes
  • ICT - Oversee development and management of key ICT systems
  • Legal - Manage legal issue in coordination with legal counsel
  • Markets - Provide support to Regional Directors on program development
  • Measurement - Oversee best ways to collect data and measure impact
  • Operations - Lead oversight of operations with CEO support
  • Payments - Oversee invoicing processes to ensure timely payments
  • Policy - Oversee development of and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Receivables - Oversee collection of payments to ensure timely deposits
  • Strategy - Support CEO on the development of 1-3 year strategic plans
  • Tasking - Oversee team calendar and key tasks and backfill and assist when needed
  • Tracking - Oversee internal operations to deliver on 1-3 year strategic plans
  • Training - Provide feedback on training curriculum and content development
  • Transparency - Ensure policies and procedures promote accountability
