    Days: Tuesday- Friday and Saturdays

    Hours: 10am – 6pm and 10a – 4pm, (unpaid lunch)

    About Achieving Success On Purpose:

    Achieving Success On Purpose (ASOP) is a nonprofit in Charlotte, NC founded in 2012. Our mission is to help underserved youth, develop the emotional and social intelligence needed to counteract delinquency and refute negative social narratives. Program services are for adolescents between 12 and 17 years old. Our vision is for underserved youth to transform hopelessness into hope. Despite their current circumstance, we envision our youth being motivated self- thinkers who embrace their natural gifts and talents to benefit the world.

    Position Summary:

    This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities to support the management and operation of nonprofit services and programs. Key tasks include client interaction, appointment scheduling and tracking, transportation coordination, marketing efforts, data analysis, and various office-related projects. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as cultural competence. The position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality service that meets both client and organizational needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and ensure the success of program operations.
    • Evaluate and assess program activities and curriculum.
    • Assist in organizing special events and field trips for the program.
    • Support group therapy activities as needed.
    • Contribute to marketing, outreach, and social media efforts.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and media outlets.
    • Develop surveys and evaluation forms, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports to assess program effectiveness.
    • Stay informed about local community events and nonprofit initiatives.
    • Represent the organization at community events and manage vendor tables.
    • Be punctual, detailed- oriented and professional.
    • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate transportation for program participants.
    • Track and manage program material inventory.
    • Develop marketing materials and manage social media engagement.
    • Uphold confidentiality standards in line with PHI and HIPAA regulations.
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization of office, classrooms, and shared spaces.
    • Monitor office equipment and report any needed repairs.
    • Attend required meetings and training sessions.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • A minimum of 2 years of administrative assistant experience.
    • Ability to multi-task and remain highly organized.
    • Proactive team player with a willingness to improve and contribute.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, and other standard office software.
    • Knowledge of nonprofit organizations and grant writing is preferred.
    • Must past background/criminal check
