Opportunity Overview: Club Marketing Associate

As the Club Marketing Associate, you have the opportunity make sure each of our 35 Clubs support their communities to the fullest extent. The Club Marketing Associate will develop and implement effective marketing strategies to maximize enrollment. This position will work closely with the Resource Development Marketing Associate and reports to the Chief Development Officer. Together, the Marketing team develops and implements messaging, branding, and marketing campaigns to support the overall strategy of Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as the needs of the organization change.

Communications:.

·      Collaborate with Club leadership to ensure all communications fall within brand standards.

·      Collaborate with Marketing colleagues on creative process for Club Insider newsletter.

·      Implement strategy for sourcing from programmatic content, including photos, vidoes, and stories.

·      Contribute to social media strategy development and manage Club focused material.

Content Development:

·      Brand Manager: Implements marketing campaigns to support Club registration, community engagement, and expanded reach.

·      Coordinate with internal and external contributors to develop compelling and engaging content and collateral.

·      In partnership with the team, develops the editorial calendar, creates and sources content for newsletters, emails, and social media. 

·      Work with vendors and contractors as needed to prepare and develop content.

Club Event Support

·      Create collateral for all Club events inclusing Youth of the Year and Field Day

·      Develop marketing strategies to celebrate and elevate Club community events

QUALIFICATIONS:

·      1-3 years of experience in a fast-moving nonprofit.

·      1-3 years of experience using analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and propose adjustments accordingly.

·      Previous experience in marketing preferred.

·      Meticulous attention to detail and excellent writing and grammar skills.

·      Strong determination to keep Club members front of mind and succeed when supporting and creating campaigns that are on-brand, relevant, and tailored to targeted audience.

·      Bachelor's degree preferred.

HOURS: The position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work required.

LOCATION: Club Service Center: 220 West Mercer St, Suite 410 Seattle WA 98119 (20% remote work and travel to local Clubs)

REPORTS TO: Chief Development Officer

FLSA: Non-Exempt

SALARY: $24.00-$27.00/hr
