The Organization:
Poder Latinx (PL) is dedicated to expanding civic and voter participation so that Latinx leaders rise to be prominent decision makers in our democracy.
Our mission is to build a political wave where the Latinx community plays a key role in the transformation of our country, where immigrants, Latinx and other people of color are decision-makers of our political process.
The Position:
The National Organizing and Membership Director will be responsible for developing and shaping the scope of Poder Latinx organizing in accordance with organizational Theory of Change and Core Values. Will work with senior-level team members in structuring the present and future organizational strategic decision making within movement building organizing program development, curricula building, and political education. Director will develop and implement organizational membership models available for future members locally and nationally. Director will focus on organizing and membership building within our Latinx communities centering goals to achieve wins advancing social justice for Poder Latinx team members and members.
