Hourly salary. Range $18-25 depending on experience.

Are you a talented, experienced marketer who wants to help uplift people through your work?

Are you bright, energetic, and passionate about making the world a better place through kindness and compassion?

Do you believe that collaboration and teamwork is the best way to work?

Do you see yourself engaging with many non-profits and health care organizations?

Still interested? Check us out below. See what we do at www.envisionkindness.org. And don't forget to tell us about you in an articulate cover letter. We want to learn about you more than your cv can tell us.

Who we are:

Envision Kindness Inc. is a 501(c)(3)CT-based nonprofit to promote kindness, compassion, joy, and love. We do so primarily through photography. Our programs have proven transformational, inspiring kindness in individuals and communities and instilling joy, optimism, gratitude, and compassion.

Our work is based on the neuropsychology of kindness and compassion, understanding that people are consciously and subconsciously affected by seeing kindness. We want to stir innate kindness that (almost) every person is born with. By promoting kindness, people will be more connected, more likely to volunteer, and, as an added benefit, be healthier. Particularly today, given the deep divisions in the geopolitical world, in order to flourish we need to heal the divide.

Envision Kindness uses images of kindness and compassion from around the world to accomplish its mission. Drawing on our portfolio of images, we have created a unique media program called EnSpire, which is designed to be streamed into places of higher stress. We are focused on health care to help uplift both patients and staff. We have tested it in a scientific study and it works really well--people are happier, calmer, inspired, and more generous. They are incredibly inspired. There's a lot of science to this.

That's where you come in. We are now ready to venture forward and more broadly with EnSpire to engage as many people as possible to experience and use it.  If it's you, we want you to be able to have a firm hand in how we accomplish this.

Who you are:

  • A talented and experienced marketer who wants to make a difference in this world. You do not want to simply push a product as a way of getting a paycheck--you want to do this because it is your way of contributing and helping others achieve a higher quality of life.
  • A sincere and enthusiastic communicator who can help people see the intrinsic value EnSpire would have for them and their practices.
  • A professional who values delivering high quality work on time
  • A collaborator who wants to share open and constructive feedback and is not afraid to ask questions or try new approaches
  • A person who appreciates and desires teamwork to create the best work product rather than whose idea it is
  • A human who knows that meaning in life is about having purpose and that work is a central path to achieving meaning
  • A professional with at least 3 years of marketing experience; 5 or more preferred.
  • Graphics arts/design and web design talents a significant plus.
  • Connections in/knowledge of healthcare and non-profit worlds very desirable.

What you'll do:

  • The primary responsibility is marketing EnSpire. You would create marketing materials and do a lot of the outreach to and engagement with a range of prospective clients and sponsors
  • Secondary responsibilities: As time allows, Envision also runs an annual international kindness photography content called "Our World Is Kind." This contest, which has been very successful, will have you interacting with people from many different countries. The specific duties include publicizing and managing the contest. Again, as time allows. s.

What's in it for you? Lots beyond the comp. 1. Let's start with inspiring kindness, connection, and social justice. 2. Experience running an international campaign for a rapidly growing organization. And a seat at the table as we build this out.

Compensation: As Envision is a small organization right now, this position is hourly. It is anticipated that the hours would vary but could be around 20/week. With time, that can change into something more. A good part of it will depend on you.

Start Date: Position is available for start in end-January/early February.

To Apply: Please submit a resume, links to your previous campaigns, and cover letter explaining your strengths, experiences, and why you are interested in this position. Given the number of applications we have had, if you don't submit all that is requested, we will not be able to consider your candidacy. Sorry.

Are you a talented, experienced marketer who wants to help uplift people through your work?
