The ideal candidate is digitally well-versed and comfortable with creative marketing that involves applying analytics and data into measurable, actionable plans. The ideal candidate will have a dedicated work ethic, including a desire to be a hands-on team member with deep appreciation for the organization’s mission and the importance of its work and ability to articulate the organization’s goals, vision, and work.

Under the direct supervision of the Corporate Relations and Marketing Manager, the newly created position of Digital and Design Coordinator works alongside the Assistant Director of Development and Communications and Corporate Relations and Marketing Manager to create a communications plan for the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in related field. A comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms and how to analyze and maximize their usage. Excellent computer skills; Adobe Photoshop skills required.. Ability to collaborate with diverse groups of people and work effectively as part of a team. Superior organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Google Suite and NXT and video editing experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute the social media strategy and keep all platforms active and current with organizational content
  • Write and edit content for all the organization’s social media platforms
  • Exploring cost effective strategies to build the Guild’s following on social media and email marketing
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of social media initiatives using tools like Google Analytics and Insight
  • Support the fundraising team to deliver partner benefits and augment direct marketing/peer-to-peer campaigns
  • Maintain Hudson Guild website and e-newsletters
  • Create unique and engaging content that conveys the Guild’s impact on Chelsea and west side communities
  • Work with community building staff to ensure messages around public affairs, advocacy, and community events are shared when appropriate
  • Other related duties as assigned
