    Description

    We are seeking a compassionate, innovative, and dedicated leader who will be responsible for advancing the mission of St. Joseph Spiritual Ministries (SJSM) by developing and implementing spiritual programming that is mission-aligned and impactful. In addition to delivering retreats, prayer sessions, and workshops, the Director will also lead the philanthropic efforts of the ministry, including strategic planning, donor engagement, and stewardship.

    To thrive in this role, you must have a strong understanding of or a willingness to deeply engage with the mission, charism, and vision of the Sisters of St. Joseph. This includes embodying the spirit of unity and service in all interactions with donors, foundations, and event participants.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Advisory Board Leadership

    • Schedule, plan, and lead quarterly SJSM Advisory Board meetings.
    • Collaborate with the Board to generate ideas for future programming and identify facilitators.

    Program Development and Retreat Ministry

    • Coordinate planning, implementation, and evaluation of annual retreats and Days of Prayer.
    • Oversee virtual and in-person retreat logistics, including staffing and guest facilitation.
    • Partner with local parishes, schools, and organizations to promote and expand programming.

    Strategic Communication and Donor Engagement

    • Maintain meaningful relationships with donors and ensure timely acknowledgment of contributions.
    • Collaborate with the President of Sisters of St. Joseph on programming updates and strategic priorities.
    • Manage communication with internal and external audiences through digital and print platforms.

    Administrative and Operational Oversight

    • Supervise the Administrative Assistant and oversee Spirituality Center operations.
    • Monitor budgets and ensure financial alignment with ministry goals.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in spiritual direction, ministry leadership, or retreat facilitation.
    • Proven ability to manage programs, teams, and budgets effectively.
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Familiarity with digital platforms for program delivery and outreach.
    • A deep commitment to the mission and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph.
    • Theology degree or comparable experience in spirituality and pastoral ministry preferred.

    • 8 hour shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekends as needed
