Reports To: Head of Social Impact

Employment Classification: Full Time 

Positions supervised: None

Works Closely with: All Social Impact Department Staff

Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000, DOE; Health, dental & vision insurance; Generous PTO policy; Commuter benefit; 403(B) Company Matching

Location: Remote position; candidate must be based in Greater New York City

We strategically build and execute social impact campaigns around award-winning documentaries, to inspire people of all faiths and goodwill to engage with their communities on important social issues. About You: 

The Screenings and Sales Coordinator will work with key members of the Social Impact team, as well as outside suppliers and partners, to ensure the successful implementation of impact campaigns around Odyssey Impact’s programming with specific focus on screening, partnership, and sales coordination. This position will manage accurate collection and organization of information, data and assessment related to impact campaigns, including screenings, distribution networks and partners, as well as conducting outreach and facilitating sales of in-house produced series. The Screenings and Sales Coordinator must be comfortable engaging with potential screening hosts, partners, and purchasers via email, phone, and Zoom; be adept at researching potential opportunities to contribute to the overall success of the campaigns. Must be highly organized and able to multi-task across a range of campaigns and initiatives. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Salesforce, and/or Streak CRM systems.  


As Screenings and Sales Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage and develop the impact screenings and sales pipeline, address revenue and track success
  • Engage potential screening hosts, partners, and purchasers through requests as well as targeted outreach
  • Liaise with key members of the Social Impact team to ensure synergy across campaign efforts
  • Schedule, process and deliver screening and purchase materials with attention to the time sensitive nature of requests
  • Maintain screening and sales contracts, billing and accounts
  • Create and process invoices and check requests 
  • Assist in providing data reports and manage analysis for impact campaigns
  • Maintain databases and client management relationship software
  • Research potential partners and screening opportunities, and support impact strategies with project specific research
  • Assist in crafting and distributing outreach messages to prospective strategic and screening partners
  • Schedule meetings, phone calls, and events with strategic and screening partners
  • Support fundraising activities and events


You’ll also bring key skills and interests to the table: 

  • You have a passion for film, social justice, and building relationships.
  • You have excellent research, writing and phone communication skills.
  • You have fluency in all major social media platforms, as well as all standard office software, including G-Suite 
  • You have a strong capacity for follow-through and self-direction, with a willingness to hit the ground running on independent projects. 
  • You’re good humored, with a penchant for problem-solving and resourcefulness, even under deadline pressure.


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience in sales and relationship building.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Streak CRM systems.
  • You must be eligible to work in the United States. 
  • You must be available to work remotely. 
  • You must be based in Greater New York City
