THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking an organized and tech-savvy individual proficient in Wordpress, to support marketing project management and further grow the digital reach, fundraising and recruitment efforts of Technovation. This person will work under the Content Manager in the marketing department.
About Technovation:
Technovation is the world's largest technology entrepreneurship program for girls.
Our mission is to empower girls, especially those from underrepresented communities, to develop problem solving skills, self-efficacy, and financial capacity, critical to them becoming leaders and changemakers in their communities.
Through Technovation, girls work in teams supported by mentors to develop mobile & AI based solutions to problems in their communities. Over the past 15 years we have engaged ~350,000 participants across 120+ countries.
What will the work be:
Marketing Ops
- Manage and maintain Technovation’s websites
- Work in WordPress to create and edit posts and pages, support re-classification of content, and manage media files
- Work on blogs (format and publish new posts; update/reformat older posts; adjust categories/tags)
- Assist with backend management and updating of various company websites and website plug-ins
- Manage Marketing Team project calendar and associated tasks in project management tool
- Ensures Marketing technology stack and data are in alignment to optimize marketing initiatives as required. These tools include:
- Salesforce / Pardot
- MailChimp
- Wordpress
- Hootsuite
- Asana
- Google Suite
- MobileCause
- Manage CRM activities including report generation, lead input, database/lead management, campaign list development and management.
- Research, extract and analyze required data from Google Analytics to help inform strategy. Provide monthly data-based reports on traffic to all Technovation’s digital properties to inform strategy
- Coordinate distribution of email campaigns including contributions to personalization and segmentation strategy
Ideal Candidate
- 3-4 years experience
- Familiarity with some or all of these modern web development techniques & technologies: WordPress, Themes, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery
- Experience with some or all of the above mentioned marketing tech tools
- Strong Communication (able to clearly communicate questions and comfortable receiving constructive feedback)
- Desire to learn fast, self-motivated and organized
- Time management and planning skills
