Job Descriptions

Disability Allies, Inc. (DA) is looking to hire an experienced Human Resources Recruiter who will be responsible for recruiting and screening candidates for both our DSP Program and our Community Inclusion Center Programs. The successful candidate will be able to recruit and screen candidates, as well as review our current Recruiting Strategy and Processes, make suggestions, and potentially design a more efficient process to implement with relevant KPI’s for measurement.

This position will be very dynamic in nature identifying and matching the right candidates for our client families spanning various skill sets and criteria. Our Human Resources Recruiter will serve as the main internal point of contact for our DSP Matchmaking Process.

Job Responsibilities

·       Phone Screen Candidates and Schedule Interviews for all Disability Allies positions

·       Interview and Hire Community Center and Support Staff

·       Create and Manage all Job Ads and Postings

·       Research New Hiring Sites to Post Job Opportunities

·       Register/Attend Career Fairs Promoting Disability Allies

·       Review/Design Recruitment Strategy and Processes for DSP Program

·       Develop Relationships with Various Local Colleges and their Career Services, Human Services, and Education Departments

·       Identify Potential Matches for our Coaching (DSP) Program

·       Maintain/Update the DSP Database

·       Attending Weekly Employee Meetings

·       The CEO or COO may Modify or Provide Additional Tasks at their Discretion

Job Requirements

·       Must have 1-3 years of Recruiting Experience, 3+ Years Preferred

·       Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Human Resources or Business Administration Preferred

·       Must be Comfortable with Creating/Managing Job Posts on Indeed and other Hiring Sites

·       Must be Comfortable with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Excel

·       Must be Willing to Answer Phone Calls and Attend Events outside of Normal Work Hours when Necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

·       Salaried Position – Will Depend on Relevant Experience

·       This Position will include Paid Time Off (Vacation/Personal/Sick Days)

·       Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance Coverage

·       Travel Reimbursement - .31 Cents a Mile for Travel Reimbursement (This does not include your trip from home to the office)
