  • Helping to coordinate general content and themes for educational workshops at major NACo conferences.
  • Promoting close collaboration with Innovations Lab colleagues, NACo’s Strategic Relations team and other key internal teams.
  • Helping to provide strong customer service to NACo members and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Deputy Chief Innovation Officer and/or Chief Innovation Officer.

  • 2-4 years of experience in relevant content design and leadership development role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including experience in effective leadership of multiple ongoing projects without compromising quality or timely delivery.
  • Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well in a political environment.
  • Ability to work well with external partners.
  • Knowledge of local governments and relevant organizations.
