Senior Project Manager, Panorama Strategy

Position Summary

Our dynamic, growing team at Panorama Strategy seeks a Senior Project Manager. We are looking for a self-directed individual who is a problem solver, values being part of a team, and is excited by change.

This role will provide high-quality project management and strategic counsel for a portfolio of projects[1], which may include:

• Serving as the Secretariat for a group of high-level global leaders that have committed to use their voice and influence to keep an infectious disease high on global and regional agendas. In this project, Panorama Strategy supports partners by developing advocacy strategies, managing communication with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting meetings and convenings.
• Holistic project management support of a global health roundtable that convenes leaders from the life sciences industry to bring greater attention to and investment in interventions that will positively impact the world’s poorest populations. In this project, Panorama Strategy supports partners by providing project management of core operations, e.g., support of periodic, high-level convenings of industry leaders, in addition to tailored support to individual workstreams related to COVID-19, neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), and government affairs.

[1] Panorama Strategy has a diverse project and partner portfolio. While these project descriptions reflect ongoing projects that this role might support, project assignments may shift depending on staffing needs, capacity, and portfolio changes. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain work plans, roadmaps, and other project management tools to support project teams and ensure quality outcomes
• Draft and edit a variety of materials to support partner initiatives, including written briefs, strategy documents, and meeting materials using PowerPoint
• Support multiple projects at one time and ensure high quality communication and outcomes for stakeholders
• Provide ongoing research and analytical support for projects or initiatives
• Manage the planning for events, key meetings, convenings, and presentations which may include developing agendas, managing participant communication, handling logistics, and preparing and disseminating materials
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders with comfort to develop and maintain healthy team dynamics and relationships

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, writing, and verbal skills for communicating and collaborating with broad and diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of information and make strategic recommendations
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate in a constructive, diplomatic manner and to build and sustain cross-functional relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, often with ambiguity, and managing multiple stakeholders while ensuring high quality deliverables and strong relationships
• Proactive with ability to accomplish work efficiently and with initiative
• Experience balancing competing priorities and identifying when to escalate an issue
• Skilled in partnership, transparent communication, and cultural awareness
• Interest in continuous learning both in personal and professional growth with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of work experience
• Experience working on global health and development or international social impact issues; private sector experience or partnership experience is a plus
• Documented history of detail-oriented project management experience, including responsibilities of managing a project or program from conception to implementation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Fluency in written and spoken English; other language proficiencies welcomed
