The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization committed to educating the public on issues with significant fiscal policy impact. Our bipartisan leadership comprises some of the nation's leading budget experts, including many past heads of the House and Senate Budget Committees, the Congressional Budget Office, the Office of Management and Budget, the Government Accountability Office, and the Federal Reserve Board.
The Legislative Manager will contribute to the organization’s ongoing legislative efforts in the areas of federal budget, tax, health, Social Security, and economic policy. The Manager needs to be strategic, fast moving, flexible, hardworking, extremely organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Ideally, they will have experience both working on Capitol Hill and with building coalitions on Capitol Hill through outside groups. They must believe in the mission of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and appreciate a bipartisan approach to policymaking.
