Digital Strategist and Content Manager

We are looking for a motivated, talented professional to join us as Digital Strategist and Content Manager. You will be working with a savvy, hard-working global team fostering innovation on, and implementation of, open contracting around the world.

You will:

1. Leverage all digital channels—social media, the website, newsletters and email campaigns—to engage existing and new audiences;
2. Write, edit, and produce original OCP content that is compelling, smart, and clear;
3. Tell inspiring stories about us, our amazing partners, and our impacts;
4. Manage OCP’s website and coordinate our day-to-day communication stream including our social media;
5. Help educate editors and journalists around the world as to why the trillion-dollar world of contracting and procurement matters so much for public integrity, markets and development.

You should have a great existing track record of smart, savvy communications work with an existing network of contacts and great examples of your impact. You should be an excellent writer with a succinct, engaging style.

You will share our values, have the pulse on the global news cycle and politics, and be able to link it to the world of development, anticorruption, and – dare we wish – public procurement!

You should approach open contracting and how we communicate this admittedly dry subject with curiosity and a sense of fun. You should be interested in infusing our materials with fresh ideas and the boldness needed to further grow the impact of open contracting globally.
