Bethesda Green will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary in addition to hosting its annual Gala on October 18, 2018. We are currently seeking an event coordinator to coordinate all elements of the Gala preparation, including day-of management and immediate post Gala activities. The Coordinator ensures that the Gala is successful but also understands the work as key to the contribution of the fundraising goals and net revenues. 

The coordinator will inform the Executive Director and Office and Operations Coordinator regularly and report to the Executive Director. The coordinator will receive occasional support from BG staff and interns where necessary.

This position is contracted on a fixed amount but someone with communications, marketing, and development skills in addition to event management could be considered for contractual work.

Work on the gala begins in March ending in October. Applicants will need to be especially available during the months immediately leading up to the gala.
