ABOUT THE POSITION: The Housing Navigator is a type of Case Manager at Compass that will maintain a caseload of homeless participants, many of whom will have multiple barriers (i.e. serious mental illness, substance use disorders, chronic health conditions, frequent contact with law enforcement, etc.). The Housing Navigator will engage and develop relationships with participants, and provide support services so that secure, stable, and permeant housing may be achieved. This is a unionized position, represented by Local 8 of the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU).
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Blaine Center is a 24- hour shelter program, that provides shelter for 60 men. Clients access on-site housing navigation, hygiene services, daily meals, and a variety of case management resources to help eliminate barriers to stability. This intensive case management program is designed to move guest towards stable, permanent housing.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE #1: Sunday-Thursday Day & Swing shifts (Sunday & Wednesday 8am-4pm; Monday & Tuesday 12-8pm; Thursday 2-10pm); with biweekly staff meetings Tuesdays 4-6pm
SCHEDULE #2: Tuesday-Saturday Day & Swing shifts (Tuesday & Friday 10am-6pm; Wednesday & Thursday 12-8pm; Saturday 8am-4pm); with biweekly staff meetings Tuesdays 4-6pm
SALARY RANGE: $18.22 (Level 1) or $19.70 (Level 2 MSW) per hour
