Client Relationship Associate - Corporate Work Study Program

Position Offered

CRNYHS seeks an energetic professional to serve as a Client Relationship Associate (CRA) interacting regularly with students, CWSP Partners, and CRNYHS faculty regarding the students’ work responsibilities. This is a year-round, full time salaried position. The CRA will report directly to the Director of CWSP, a senior leader of CRNYHS


Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in some or all of these areas:

·        Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience

·        Background working with students of high school age or experience in managing client relationships

·        Fluency in Spanish ideal but not required

·        Strong strategic aptitude, innovative mindset, and thorough in managing tasks and projects

·        Ability to support various stakeholders, be proactive, and work collaboratively in a team setting


Functional Duties

Client Relationship Management

CWSP staff service clients by proactively providing them with information about the students, responding to inquiries and resolving problem situations.

The associate will serve as a primary contact for assigned CWSP sponsors—

·        Communicate regularly with supervisors through e-mail, telephone and site visits to understand workplace environment and student worker responsibilities

·        Collaborate with supervisors to identify, address, and support areas of growth for student workers to help student excel in the workplace

·        Follow up on time card and evaluation comments with supervisors, students and parents/guardians

·        Work with Director of CWSP to develop and lead supervisor engagement, student development and overall program initiatives


Student Training and Development

CWSP supports student worker development through a collaborative relationship with a student’s CWSP placement as well as Corporate Applications (C-Apps) class. C-Apps, is a professional and technical skills class that meets 1x/week that allows CWSP to provide students with skills needed for the workplace.

·        Support the planning and execution of 2-3 sections of C-Apps class

·        Assist in the implementation of retraining and remediation programs for student workers based on supervisor feedback; timecards, site visits and performance evaluations

·        Mentor student workers in need of additional workplace support to address students’ areas of growth in meeting program expectations

·        Work collaboratively with CWSP team members, Deans and Counseling department as needed to support students in the workplace
