Innovation & Learning Manager – New Americans Campaign

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is seeking a full-time Innovation & Learning Manager for the New Americans Campaign (NAC). This is an exempt position that reports to the NAC Director. Ideally, this position would be based in San Francisco, CA, but consideration could be given to Washington, DC, depending on candidate qualifications. This would require occasional travel to San Francisco, CA. This is a two-year staff position, with the possibility for renewal contingent on project-related funding. The Innovation & Learning Manager is an ILRC employee.
The ILRC is a national nonprofit legal support center with offices located in San Francisco and the Central Valley, CA; Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, TX; and Washington, DC. Founded in 1979, the ILRC is regarded as one of the foremost experts on engaging immigrants and developing their leadership in the democratic process; providing expertise on complex issues of immigration law, procedure and policy; and engaging in advocacy and educational initiatives on policies that affect immigrants. We are a team-based organization that makes decisions in a collaborative fashion that allows for significant staff input.
ILRC serves as the lead agency for the New Americans Campaign (NAC), a non-partisan national campaign aimed at increasing the number of new Americans by ensuring access to the naturalization process and trusted legal assistance. The NAC is a network of respected immigration organizations, legal services providers, faith-based organizations, immigrant rights groups, foundations, and community leaders. We are modernizing and streamlining access to naturalization services, so that greater numbers of legally qualified permanent residents take the critical step to becoming American citizens. www.newamericanscampaign.org.
The Innovation & Learning Manager supports the work of the ILRC’s NAC Project Director and the NAC team, and is charged with managing the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure progress against the NAC's goals and identifying and spreading best practices in naturalization services to a network of 200 non-profit partners. They are responsible for collecting, analyzing and presenting metrics in order to facilitate assessment, best practices sharing and decision-making. The Innovation & Learning Manager is also responsible for identifying, in real time, best practices in naturalization legal assistance; documenting these best practices in multiple, engaging written and presentation formats; and creating learning opportunities to spread best practices nationwide throughout the NAC including through an annual 350-person conference.

Compensation/Benefits:
The annual pay range for this position is $65,000 – $80,000. The ILRC provides competitive salaries, excellent benefits including professional membership dues, health/dental/vision insurance, a flexible spending account for medical and dependent care, vacation, and sick leave. The ILRC sponsors a retirement plan option upon fulfillment of eligibility.
