PARK AVENUE ARMORY
Part American palace, part industrial shed, Park Avenue Armory is dedicated to supporting unconventional works in the visual and performing arts that need non-traditional spaces for their full realization, enabling artists to create and audiences to experience epic and adventurous presentations that cannot be mounted elsewhere in New York City. The Armory’s facilities occupy an entire city block and include a 55,000 square foot Drill Hall and numerous historic rooms.
The Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for day-to-day IT support for over 75 users and workstations, and as well as configuring, deploying, and managing computer and network devices. They will perform a L1, L2, and L3 technical duties, which include, but are not limited to, installation of network devices, modification, documentation, maintenance, advanced problem diagnosis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of all desktops and network hardware and software.
The Network and Systems Administrator reports to the Director of IT. They work in close collaboration with colleagues in the facilities and operations departments, and interact frequently with managers and staff in all departments across the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, safety is always a priority. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; vibration; and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
