SUMMARY: The Annual Giving and Fulfillment Coordinator oversees the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of annual donors, including event sponsors, and plays a critical role in increasing donor support, attracting new donors, and stewarding their gifts. Responsibilities include a blend of out-ward facing donor event planning and engagement and in-ward facing direct mail and donor communications coordination amongst the team. The position additionally supports donor stewardship activities and builds relationship and familiarity with our community of supporters and partners.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.


•In collaboration with the development team, create donor programming to grow individual donor, corporate, and foundational support with direct accountability for goals set forth in the annual budget and strategic plan


•Assist with a moves management plan, donor recognition, thank you process with staff and board, and track stewardship moves in Raiser’s Edge with the Grants and Development Manager 


•Plan and execute retention strategy and cultivation events for the Oak Tree Circle, City Park Legacy, capital campaigns and stewardship events, while keeping staff on set timelines


•Create mail briefs for each direct mail job to graphic designer, seeking content, input, and overall objectives and strategy on copy, mail segment(s), and art from the development and communications team


•Arrange and coordinate face-to-face meetings with existing and prospective annual fund donors


•Maintain accuracy of donor tracking systems related to annual fund donors and prospective donors


•Analyze and report on outcomes of annual fund development programs on a regular basis


•Write acknowledgement and welcome letters for all campaigns and refresh content annually


•Identify major gift prospects and communicate information to the CDO and other major gifts staff for cultivation


•Oversee and manage fundraising event sponsorship solicitations and recognition fulfillment, along with overall park-wide event sponsor solicitation lists and calendar 


•Work with program staff and other organization departments to ensure donor data integrity and accurate information input and reporting


•Working with the development and communications team, strategize and help execute collateral materials for events and park-wide needs 


•Seek and record feedback from donors and make recommendations for improvements


•Lead the production of campaign completion reports and mailings to donors and other stewardship mailings


•Assist Development Associate with gift processing during heavy gift entry seasons


•Create and manage support documentation of development processes and procedures


•As directed by the CDO, performs other duties as assigned to support the overall department and organization


 QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


•Bachelor’s degree with previous experience in fundraising in a non-profit or development setting 


•Fluid knowledge with Raiser’s Edge or similar platform CRM required


•Experience in prospecting preferred


•Knowledge of fundraising information sources, familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, strategies, procedures, and research techniques for fundraising prospect research


•Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work easily and effectively with a wide range of people including donors, board members, volunteers, team members, and other nonprofit representatives 


•Conceptual thinking with the ability to think in terms of abstract ideas and ability to produce a new concept or idea


•Sensitivity to and respect for the privacy rights of donors in all communications
