    Description

Help us change the world by reaching out to the wide range of building industry segments we serve. You will be part of a dynamic, mission-focused team that’s committed to making the built environment more sustainable through education in Passive House design and construction. Put your sales know-how to work in making resilient communities and a more livable planet.

About Us: We are a national nonprofit that provides high-performance Passive House building training and resources, including events, membership, and knowledge networking, to professionals, owners, builders, policymakers, and other stakeholders across the US. We transform how stakeholders think and work with buildings to reliably produce new and renovated buildings that use dramatically less energy for effective and affordable climate action.

About the Role: You will communicate, coordinate, and interact with a wide array of professionals, owners, manufacturers, and individuals who are core to the educational transformation of the building industry. Among the responsibilities of the role are:

    • Daily outreach to market segments, through calls, emails, letters, meetings, follow-ups, and campaigns to potential customer leads and the industry organizations that influence them.
    • Represent PHN at industry events and conferences.
    • Develop our Hubspot CRM tools and deploy strategies to efficiently and effectively utilize them, building lead lists, tracking interactions, and documenting the sales pipeline.
    • Managing sales pipelines and achieving quarterly sales goals.
    • Work with Communications, Community, and Education staff to gain insights into our work and the marketplace we operate in.
    • Work with Passive House community members nationwide to research our market, understand it, and develop outreach strategies.
    • Participate in continuing education to better understand Passive House and how to make it relevant and useful to our constituencies.
    • You will work directly with the PHN Executive Director, other PHN Managers, and PHN Board Members, including participating in a dedicated board committee as a valuable team member.

Work remotely, 40 hours per week.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior sales experience required.
    • Passionate about building sustainability and climate action.
    • Willingness to learn deeply about Passive House so that you may speak about it knowledgeably, including taking the CPHD course and exam and other training offerings PHN provides (at no cost to you).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work within deadlines.
    • Knowledge of G Suite, Zoom, Hubspot, Social Media Platforms, Canva, Slack, and WordPress. Tech-savviness is required.
