Location: Infor Headquarter office in NYC, NY
Under the organizational umbrella of the Dream Corps, #YesWeCode is a national initiative to help 100,000 young women and men from underrepresented backgrounds find success in the tech sector. We accomplish this through our #YesWeCode scholarship fund, our Coding Corps training programs, and partnerships with tech and community leaders.
#YesWeCode’s Infor Education Alliance Program (EAP) Sales Instructor will prepare students for the tech workforce by teaching Infor’s EAP sales curriculum. The instructor will teach participants the skills that address the hiring demands of Infor hiring managers.
The instructor will work with staff to determine what milestones and pacing the students should reach. The instructor will lead classroom activities – ranging from lectures, activities and review sessions. Instructor will give students direct feedback to help them grow professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
Curriculum Delivery and Development
Use Infor EAP sales curriculum to create and document daily interactive lesson activities that are tightly aligned to identified learning goals and objectives
Facilitate effective and interactive lesson activities that are effective for a diverse set of learners
Provide one on one instructional support when necessary
Data and Assessments
Create feedback and assessment structures that provide weekly insight on student progress
Create formal data reports that reflect students’ overall progress towards learning goals and objectives
Working with the #YesWeCode Program Manager to identify student learning support needs
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in related field(s)
Knowledge of and experience working in the tech industry as a sales professional
Experience with curriculum development and implementation
Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Quick, creative, entrepreneurial, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and opportunities
Strong strategic thinker who is also organized and detail oriented
Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work hard and effectively in a fast-paced new endeavor.
Ability to work independently, while simultaneously acting as a participant in complex collaborative processes
Strong relationship building skills
