We are not only scaling up our research capacity, but changing our approach by connecting our scientists and patients, and diversifying our funding portfolio. Our sights are set high for the future and we won’t rest until we find better treatments for prostate cancer. To maximize our impact and accelerate development of new treatments, we have identified the need to expand our reach to both attract funding and fund great science in the US in 2021.  Our ambition is to become a world center of excellence for prostate cancer research through funding excellent scientists and clinical researchers both within the UK and the USA.

The role will support PCRs Fundraising Strategy and will work alongside our US Development Director. The main focus to start will be to identify and research foundations and companies with an interest in PCR’s work; prepare funding applications for both Foundations and companies ; provide excellent stewardship to build strong and sustainable relationships with new donors; and, in-putting all income and donor information into our CRM system (ThankQ).

Another key part of the role will be to support the US Development Director and Fundraising Team with the development of other  funding streams in the US with an initial focus on major donor and events fundraising.

PLEASE NOTE: This role will be based from home initially with a view to a US office base to be setup at a later stage. The candidate can therefore work from anywhere in the US.
