The Urban Seniors Jobs Program (USJP), also known as the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a federally funded program specifically targeting older adults seeking employment and training assistance. USJP training serves as a bridge to unsubsidized employment opportunities.
The Program Director develops, initiates and implements training, placement, and support services for the USJP Participants. Supervises recruitment, training and support services for participants. Directs and monitors counseling, orientation and development of IEP's, Supervises project staff and prepares USJP Reports to include successes and challenges. Update and conduct financial reports that include spending and projections to assess monthly USJP costs and needs analysis; coordinates orientation and training; works with employers on job development opportunities for USJP Participants.
