The Program Manager will be part of JFF’s Students at the Center initiative, with primary responsibilities in the Student-Centered Learning Research Collaborative (RC) team. Students at the Center is a leading national voice for the knowledge, skills, and attitudes all youth need to succeed in college, career, and civic readiness. Our work synthesizes—and adapts for practice—current research on key components of student-centered approaches to learning that lead to deeper learning outcomes. We identify research-based practices that strengthen the ability of practitioners, such as teachers and school leaders, and policymakers to engage each

 to engage each student—particularly marginalized youth who have been underserved by traditional methods—in ways that ensure they acquire the expertise they need to succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s economy.


About you!


We’re looking for a Program Manager with at least three years of experience in communications firms, non-profits, universities, publishing or a related field. This person will be responsible for managing the workflow of and contributing to the content of all communication deliverables of the Research Collaborative team as well as to seek opportunities to broaden our message. Project management experience is crucial for success in the role. Our team welcomes an engaging Program Manager who will assist in executing marketing, publicity, and communications.

·      Experienced in project management

·      Excited about education reform, commitment to equity and have a desire to learn

·      Able to work in and across social media platforms

·      A self-starter who takes new ideas and runs with them

·      Demonstrate excellent research and writing skills

·      Have experience generating content for online consumption

·      Be a team player who is effective working both independently and collaboratively
