New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia (NSM) is an interfaith, multicultural immigrant justice organization working to build power, develop leadership, accompany families facing deportation and fight grassroots campaigns in order to change the balance of power and create a more welcoming and just city and country. The Development and Communication Coordinator plays a critical role building our faith-based grassroots movement for immigrant justice. Working closely with organizers and Promotores, they will implement a communications strategy to amplify the impact of NSM’s campaigns as well as share critical information, like Deportation Defense or Know Your Rights, for the immigrant community. They will work with the Co-Director to plan fundraising strategies, maintain and build our base of individual donors, and write grants.
