REPORTS TO: VP Education

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Six CSC Education direct reports

LOCATION: Chicago, Detroit, Omaha, St. Louis, Cleveland

Grade/Class: Grade G, Exempt, PSA-Eligible

ADL’s CEO and National Director, Jonathan Greenblatt—an accomplished leader and entrepreneur in the corporate, public, and nonprofit sectors—was recruited to the organization in July 2015. PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

Lead a team that introduces and sells ADL Education’s portfolio of products, programs and resources in our Midwest region with a focus on No Place for Hate®, ADL’s positive school climate program. Build business through outbound calls and marketing coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary:

· Develop and build a lead generation plan that includes outside and inside marketing strategies.

· Meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.

· Conduct quarterly check-ins with users to evaluate service and cross-promote ADL Education programs, resources, training activities, new features and products.

· Work closely with regional Education Directors to cultivate leads and turn them into customers.

· Update and maintain accurate records in ADL’s client relationship management system (Salesforce).

· Maintain territorial market and competitor awareness, developing and presenting ideas for new opportunities.

· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the entire ADL Education team.

· Lead a team that includes customer success, online course coordination, and marketing/communications.

Secondary:

· Work closely with other regional Education staff to explore cross-selling opportunities of ADL’s anti-bias training programs.

· Support regional fundraising events, and other ADL activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

· A strong understanding of the PreK-12 education landscape, with strong preference for experience in higher education.

· A tertiary knowledge of anti-bias and equity frameworks and pedagogies with the ability to develop a good understanding of ADL Education’s product range and practical application areas.

· Ability to work well both independently and in a group, sharing ideas and problem solving.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills such as time management and prioritizing. An eye for detail and the ability to maintain a very high level of accuracy.

· The instinct to say “yes” and the courage to say “no.”

· A flexible approach and the ability to influence others.

Work Experience:

· Minimum of eight years of experience selling programs and products required, preferably in the field of Education, ten years of experience preferred.

· Experience working with client management systems, preferably Salesforce.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education or equivalent experience required.
