Founded in 1974, YouthCare was one of the first shelters to serve runaway and homeless youth on the West Coast. The goal was to help young people find safety today, and build a future for tomorrow. Using a youth-centered approach, we ensure that young people experiencing homelessness ages 12-24 have the hope, skills, and confidence to gain long-term stability.


YouthCare is currently seeking a Program Supervisor – Street Outreach for Engagement ServicesUnder the supervision of the Engagement Services Senior Program Manager, the Program Supervisor – Street Outreach will coordinate day to day program operations, including scheduling, tracking and data collection for street outreach. They will coordinate with the City of Seattle to provide outreach and referrals to young people ages 12-24, who are living in unauthorized encampments. The Program Supervisor – Street Outreach will supervise the Outreach Workers and Outreach Case Mangers to ensure that young people living on the street, and who are couch surfing, are provided with ongoing support.  


Successful candidates will have:

·        3 or more years of experience working with vulnerable young people or young people experiencing homelessness

·        1 or more years of experience providing outreach services

·        High School Diploma, GED, or Associates’ Degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field.

·        Experience and credentials must comply with program contract requirements.
