Become a force for nature and a healthy planet by joining the Pennsylvania Chapter’s Communications and Development teams! This position will play an essential role for planning and implementing chapter donor, marketing and other chapter events that reflect The Nature Conservancy’s work in Pennsylvania. These events are critical to helping to engage donors, supporters and to communicate the chapter’s messages.
The Events and Marketing Associate will manage all logistics for chapter events, including the envisioning and development of events, site selection, schedule, budget management and working with vendors to achieve desired results. This position will help to engage members and donors through targeted, customized experiences like travel opportunities, outings, partner and other events. The Events and Marketing Associate will work with chapter staff as well as members of the Pennsylvania board of trustees and staff from other TNC chapters to design and develop creative approaches to event programming. The Events and Marketing Associate will work with the chapter’s volunteer programs manager to develop a volunteer corps of TNC supporters in the greater Philadelphia area to help support and provide assistance with development and marketing events. This position will also assist with other communications work and events presentations.

· Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience developing, organizing and coordinating events.
· Experience managing and organizing various stakeholders to achieve desired results.
· Experience working across teams to develop and implement cross-departmental goals.
